The U. S. National Toxicology Program (NTP) today released its final report on the CLARITY Core Study, a landmark study on the safety of bisphenol A (BPA). The results of the study, which is the final part of a multi-year in-depth research program, strongly support the safety of BPA.

How Much BPA?

BPA is used safely in food packaging items to extend shelf life and protect food from contamination and spoilage. Scientific research explains what happens inside the human body when trace amounts of BPA are consumed.
