The Polycarbonate/BPA Global Group of the American Chemistry Council represents most of the major manufacturers of polycarbonate plastic and BPA worldwide. In North America, the Polycarbonate/BPA Global Group is organized within the American Chemistry Council (ACC).

The Responsible Care® system helps America’s leading chemical companies go above and beyond government requirements to make the best, most up-to-date information available to the public.
As ACC members, these companies are obligated to adhere to the principles of Responsible Care®, which include responsibility for understanding, managing and communicating the impacts to human health and the environment throughout the life cycle of chemical products, and to develop and promote safe and sustainable use of their products.
